What a covered grandstand costs

Most people asking this want a number they can put in front of a committee, not a brochure. So here are our rates in full — day, weekend and week, for every stand in the fleet. They exclude travel and VAT, and they include the roof, because every stand has one.

Day, weekend and week rates

GS130130£2,050£2,300£2,400

GS171171£2,100£2,350£2,500
GS181181£2,350£2,550£2,700

All rates exclude travel and VAT. Additional days beyond the hire period are charged at half the first-day rate.

What the price includes

  • The stand itself, delivered on its own trailer
  • Build and dismantle by our own crew
  • The integrated roof — there is no uncovered option, and no supplement for the cover
  • Handover documentation, including the wind rating and load test records your safety advisory group will ask for

What it does not include

  • Travel to and from your site, charged from whichever of our three depots is nearest
  • VAT
  • Overnight accommodation, at cost, where a working day runs beyond 12 hours or delivery is before 7am
  • Ground protection or matting, if your site needs it. We tell you at quote stage if it does.

Why the bigger stand is sometimes the cheaper one

Rates follow the trailer, not the seat count. The GS150 seats twenty more people than the GS130 and costs £150 less a day, because one operator builds it in forty minutes rather than a crew taking two hours. If your numbers sit near a break point, ask us — the cheaper stand is often the larger one.

How booking works

  • A 20% reservation fee holds the date. It is non-refundable.
  • The balance is due 30 days before delivery.
  • Bank transfer or card.
  • Most events are weekends, so we usually deliver Wednesday to Friday and collect Monday or Tuesday.

When to book

Summer show season and the November remembrance weekends go first. For a weekend between May and September, aim to have it booked by 1 January. Midweek events are usually comfortable two to three months out. Short notice is still worth a call — 2,200 seats across three depots means we can often move something.
