Grandstand hire in London and the South East
London work is served from our Leicester depot. The stands are the same six — 90 to 181 covered seats arriving on a trailer — but the constraints are different from a showground, and they are usually about time and access rather than space.
Overnight builds and road closures
Most city events give you a closure window rather than a set-up day. That is what the fast stands are for. The GS181 puts 181 covered seats up in under thirty minutes; the GS150 takes thirty to forty-five minutes with a single operator. Built overnight, gone before the road reopens.
When access is the problem, not space
Street events, garden squares and courtyards tend to fail on the gateway rather than the footprint. The GS90 is the smallest in the fleet at 7.5 metres long, and it goes where the bigger trailers will not. If you are not sure a stand will physically get in, send us the access route and we will tell you before you book rather than after.
Which side it opens
The GS160, GS171 and GS181 open to either the driver or the passenger side, which decides where the trailer can stand relative to the action. The GS150 opens to the passenger side only. On a constrained site that detail often settles which stand you get.
